At first glance, KOMPLEX appears to be a place of order, where law is enforced with the iron fist of the Tower‑ruled Automata, and peace is maintained through the constant surveillance of the mighty Aparåt. Nothing could be further from the truth.

During my wanderings through the forgotten entrails of the City — ancient aqueducts, underground caverns cast in concrete and steel, abandoned air‑exchange systems — I traversed countless service corridors, stone passages, and conduits in which a grown man could stand upright and still not touch the ceiling. I have seen things, terrible and beautiful, whose existence is unknown even to the most initiated servants of the Aparåt.

From each of my journeys I brought back a memory — sometimes filling me with awe, other times unwanted, freezing my dreams. Signals Unknown is the record of that journey, a chronicle of signals of a world hidden from the Tower’s gaze.
